Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, accompanied by Prince Daniel and Prince Oscar, is on a 3-day visit to Italy, from December 15-17. They attended engagements in Rome on Day 1 and moved to Milan on Day 2.
On Day 1, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and Prince Oscar arrived in Rome, where Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel met President Laura Boldrini of the Chamber of Deputies, and were shown around the women’s hall by President Boldrini. They visited the Birgittine Nuns, where the met the General Abbesses of Rome, and then visited the A.S. Roma football club. In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the annual Lucia Reception at the Swedish Ambassador’s residence.
On Day 2, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Swedish Institute of Classical Studies, Svenska Institutet, a research institution that serves as the base for archaeological excavations and other scientific research in Italy. They attended the ‘Step it up together with rural women to end hunger and poverty’ seminar at the Food and Agriculture Organization Headquarters in Rome. Afterwards, the trio departed for Milan, where Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the Frip concept store and learned what it is like to sell Swedish fashion in Italy. In the evening, they attended the annual St. Lucia Day reception at the Swedish-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
On the last day of their visit to Italy, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited the San Raffaele Hospital and the production facility of Volvo Group Milan. After that visits, the Couple went to Swedish Restaurant Björk in Milan.
On Day 1, in Rome, Crown Princess Victoria wore a Filippa K Almondine Shirt Zip Dress. Prince Daniel wore a dark double-breasted suit with a black tie. For the Lucia Reception, Crown Princess Victoria wore a Anna Holtblad Black Rose Draped Velvet Dress with gold cuffs. Prince Daniel wore a navy double-breasted suit with a dotted tie.
On day 2, In Rome, Crown Princess Victoria wore a Dolce & Gabbana striped dress. Prince Daniel wore a navy double-breasted suit with a blue tie. At the reception in Milan, the Crown Princess wore a printed top over a black skirt. Prince Daniel wore a black double-breasted suit with a black tie.
