Queen at Crick Institute

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Francis Crick Institute on November 9th. They met scientists at the medical research centre before touring and officially opening their new building.

The Queen and Duke visited the The Francis Crick Institute, a world-leading medical research centre, in London to officially open their new building. They were welcomed by officials, before meeting some of the 1250 scientists working to answer challenging scientific questions on health and disease. The Queen toured the building, which is the largest biomedical research centre under one roof in Europe.

The Queen wore a teal coat and hat with her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace and the Round Cambridge Emerald Brooch. The Duke of Edinburgh wore a dark suit with a dotted red tie.screen-shot-2016-11-09-at-8-24-42-am
