Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Cornwall

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started their 2-day visit to Cornwall and the Scilly Isles on September 1st. On Day 1, they visited Truro Cathedral and later visited Youth Centre Zebs, before touring a local cyder farm.

The Duke and Duchess started their day at Truro Cathedral, where they met members of the clergy and ‘signed a slate’ in aid of the Cathedral’s Roof Appeal. After chatting to the crowds, the royal couple visited Youth Centre Zebs, and listened to young people explaining how important it is to support each other with their mental wellbeing.

For their next engagement, the Duke & Duchess toured the warehouse and production hall where they sampled some of their apple juices. The Duchess got a chance to pour her own drink, before unveiling a plaque marking the 30th anniversary of the company.

The Royal couple saw Duchy of Cornwall development projects in Nansledan & Tregunnel Hill, before visiting Newquay’s Towan Beach. TRH’s will spend the night at Restormel Manor, which belongs to the Prince of Wales’s Duchy of Cornwall.

The Duke of Cambridge wore navy trousers with a grey blazer. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new dusk pink Lela Rose dress and her Kiki McDonough earrings with pink morganite drops.
