Danish Royal Annual Summer Photoshoot

The Danish Royal family posed for their Summer Photoshoot at Grasten Castle on July 16th. This is an annual event that marks the start of royal summer vacation. Usually, the Queen, Prince Henrik, the Crown Prince’s family, Prince Joachim’s family, and Princess Bendikte’s family are also present. This year, the Queen and Prince Henrik were accompanied by the Crown Prince’s family and Princess Bendikte’s children.

The Danish Royal Family usually spend their summer vacation at Grasten Castle in southern Denmark. Queen Margrethe, along with her consort, Prince Henrik are joined by members of their family for the annual photoshoot. This year, Crown Prince Fredrick, Crown Princess Mary and there four children, Princes Christian and Vincent, and Princess Isabella and Josephine, were present. Princess Bendikte, the Queen’s sister, children, Hereditary Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleberg with his long-time partner, Carina Alexson, and Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleberg attended with her Husband Count Jefferson von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth and her daughter Countess Ingrid von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth were also present.

Queen Margretha wore a fuchsia skirt suit with daisy earrings and an anchor brooch. Prince Henrik wore a camel-coloured suit over a turquoise shirt. Crown Prince Fredrick wore a light blue shirt over blue pants. Crown Princess Mary wore a green patterned dress with a black cardigan and pearl earrings.

Prince Christian wore a blue shirt with bright blue shorts. Princess Isabella wore a pink dress with a beige cardigan. Prince Vincent wore a white shirt with patterned light-blue shorts. Princess Josephine wore a patterned dress with a cream cardigan.
