Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar. HM the Queen attends all five days of the horse-racing event, while most members of the Royal Family attend on Ladies Day, the climax of the event. Usually, the Royal family arrive on the racecourse in carriages, and then spend the day in the Royal Box.
HM the Queen wore a mustard yellow outfit by Stewart Parvin, a hat by Rachel Trevor Morgan, and the Frosted Sunflower Brooch with her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace. The Duke of Edinburgh wore morning dress with an orange tie and an anchor tie pin.
The Prince of Wales wore grey morning dress with a pink tie to watch The Duchess of Cornwall’s pink Bruce Oldfield coat and Philip Treacy hat. She also wore her Pearl Choker with Pink Topaz Clasp. Prince Harry wore morning dress with a pale blue tie.
The Princess Royal wore a white coat and black hat with a gold brooch and earrings. The Duchess of Gloucester wore a pale blue outfit with a red hat with pearls, ruby earrings, a ruby, sapphire, and emerald floral brooch, and a pair of ruby and diamond clips to fasten her jacket. The Earl of Wessex wore morning dress. The Countess of Wessex wore a cream Emelia Wickstead gown with pearl cluster earrings and brooch.
Princess Beatrice wore a white skirt with a navy blazer. Mike Tindall wore morning dress with a blue tie. Zara Tindall wore a floral striped Mary Katrantzou dress and a blue hat. The Duchess of Argyll wore purple with a four-stranded pearl necklace with a round diamond clasp. Viscountess Petersham pink with pearl drop earrings, and a diamond star brooch.
