The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge start their Royal tour of India and Bhutan next week. To get familiar with the citizens of those countries, TRH invited members of the Indian and Bhutanese communities for a reception at Kensington Palace on April 6th.
TRH spoke with many Bhutanese and Indian students enrolled on the Chevening Scholarship Programme, the UK’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. The Duchess revealed that she was a fan of spicy food, while Prince William struggles with fiery food.
The Duchess wore a navy blue lace dress by Saloni, a British-Indian designer, with her Cassandra Goad Temple of Heaven Earrings. The Duke wore a suit with a pale blue tie.
TRH seemed at ease during the reception, and any sign of stress they have for their upcoming tour is not publicly visible.
