Wedding of Hereditary Prince Ferdinand of Leiningen and Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia

The Religious Wedding Ceremony of Hereditary Prince Ferdinand of Leiningen and Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia took place at the Chapel of Amorbach Castle on September 16th. The couple got married in a civil ceremony back in April at the Amorbach Refektorium. They are second cousins once removed as the descendants of Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Queen Victoria, and Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Members of German and European Royalty and Nobility attended the religious wedding of Hereditary Prince Ferdinand of Leiningen and Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia at the Chapel of Amorbach Castle. Among the guests were the Prince and Princess of Prussia, Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna and Grand Duke George Mikhailovich of Russia, the Hereditary Prince and Princess of Isenburg, Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe, Prince Ernst August, Princess Ekaterina, and Prince Christian of Hanover.

Princess Viktoria Luise wore a full-skirted white lace gown with a lace veil and the Prussian Meander Kokoshnik Tiara. Hereditary Prince Ferdinand wore Morning Dress with a blue waistcoat and a pale green tie.
