Victoria’s Palace

Buckingham Palace is the world’s most famous residence, as the seat of the British Monarchy for the past two centuries. In ‘Victoria’s Palace’, Sir Trevor McDonald and Julie Etchingham were guided by historians Dr. Amanda Foreman and Dr. Annie Gray and Royal Collection Curators as uncover how the royal residence was considerably reshaped by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, showing how their advances are still used by the Royal Family today. Sir Trevor and Julie were shown many of the items displayed at Queen Victoria’s Palace exhibition for the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace in 2019, to mark the bicentenary of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s Birth.
