King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie’s First Official Portraits, 1964

King Constantine II of Greece (in the Order of the RedeemerOrder of Saints George and Constantine, and the Commemorative Badge of the Centenary of the Royal House of Greece) and Princess Anne Marie of Denmark (wearing the Greek Emerald Parure, the Order of the Redeemer, and the Order of Saints Olga and Sophia, for the first time with the Commemorative Badge of the Centenary of the Royal House of Greece) pose for their First Official Portraits at the Royal Palace of Athens on this day in 1964, soon after her arrival in Athens for their wedding a few days later. The portraits were taken earlier, to be distributed all over Greece and at Greek Embassies abroad.
