The Wedding of Prince Alexander of Teck, brother of Queen Mary, and Princess Alice of Albany (wearing the Teck Ears of Wheat Tiara), a granddaughter of Queen Victoria, at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on this day in 1904. The couple had three children, two of whom died young, and after the Royal Family abandoned their German Titles during WWI, they became the Earl and Countess of Athlone and remained working members of the Royal Family until their deaths in 1957 and 1981 respectively.
