The Duke of Cambridge represented The Queen as the Reviewing Officer at The Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on December 14th. He inspected the Parade and presented awards including the Sword of Honour, the Overseas Sword and The Queen’s Medal. The Sovereign’s Parade at the end of each term marks the passing out from Sandhurst of Officer Cadets who have completed the Commissioning Course, a year’s intensive training for 169 officer cadets from the UK and 25 from 19 overseas countries. Previously, the Queen has been represented by King Abdullah of Jordan and the Duchess of Cornwall at the Sovereign’s Parade.
