Prince Heinrich of Bavaria married Henriette Gruse at Andechs Abbey in Bavaria, Germany on April 22nd. There were members of the former Bavarian and Portuguese Royal Families in attendance.
The new Princess Henriette of Bavaria wore a sapphire and diamond floral tiara, which looks similar to the one worn by his sister Princess Alice and Princess Theresa zur Lippe-Weissenfeld, at her wedding to Prince Heinrich of Bavaria at Andechs Abbey. Prince Heinrich is the second son of Prince Luitpold of Bavaria, who is set to succeed his cousins, the Duke of Bavaria and Prince Max, Duke in Bavaria, as the head of the House of Wittelsbach, the former ruling family of the Kingdom of Bavaria. Among the guests were Prince Manuel and Princess Anna of Bavaria, who attended with his mother, Princess Ursula. Princess Maria Anna of Bavaria attended the wedding with her father, the aforementioned Prince Max, Duke in Bavaria. The Duchess of Braganza, wife of the claimant to the former Portuguese throne, was accompanied by the aforementioned Duke of Bavaria.
