King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are on 7-day State Visit to India, from November 5th to 11th, to strengthen and celebrate 70 years of political, economic and cultural ties between the two countries.

— Belgian Royal Palace (@MonarchieBe) November 5, 2017King Philippe and Queen Mathilde arrived in Delhi on the evening of November 5th. The next morning, after flying from Delhi to Agra, the King and Queen had lunch with Belgian Ministers and officials at Oberoi Amarvilas Hotel in Agra.

— 🇧🇪 Belgium MFA (@BelgiumMFA) November 6, 2017Afterwards, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the Taj Mahal, where they were welcome by Bhuvan Vikrama, Superintending Archaeologist, who gave the couple a guided tour, before they signed the guestbook and posed for a group picture with the entire Belgian delegation. Later, the Royal Couple traveled back to Delhi.

King Philippe wore a brown suit with a patterned tie. Queen Mathilde wore a pink Natan dress with pearl earrings and a Francesca Romana Diana gold bracelet.
Awww!!! King Philippe and Queen Mathilde always look so sweet together, and especially here, in this universal symbol of love, the Taj Mahal! They’re not flashy or controversial, and there has been absolutely no scandal associated with them. I don’t know them from Adam, but I always think of them as devoted to each other as well as their kids. I wish them many happy years together.
