Attractive natural Pearl, Emerald and Diamond Devant-De-Corsage, circa 1860, featuring a button-shaped natural pearl, within a surround of foliate design set with old cushion-shaped diamonds accented by rose diamonds, suspending a detachable tassel set with old cushion-, pear-shaped and briolette diamonds, together with an interchangeable drop-shaped emerald pendant accented by circular-cut diamonds.

A pearl, ruby and diamond devant-de-corsage, circa 1860 and later, designed as coiling serpents holding a button-shaped pearl, suspending three detachable slightly baroque drop-shaped natural pearl pendants each from a button-shaped pearl, set with old cushion-shaped, oval and rose diamonds, the serpents’ eyes accented by cabochon rubies. Sold in the ‘Magnificent Jewels, Christie’s Geneva, 9 November 1977, lot 244.’
