Köchert Diamond Choker/Tiara

An important Jewel from a European Royal Family

A Köchert Diamond Choker/Tiara of old and rose-cut diamonds, circa 1880, was likely the Wedding Gift of Emperor Franz Joseph II to Princess Alexandra of Hanover when she married Grand Duke Frederick Francis IV of Mecklenburg-Schwerin in 1904. It was last worn by their granddaughter, Princess Elisabeth of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg for her Wedding to Prince Ferdinand Heinrich zu Ysenburg-Büdingen-Wächtersbach in 1975.
