The National Liberation Celebrations Bevrijdingsdag commemorate the Allied Liberation of the Netherlands during the Second World War.

King Willem-Alexander wore a dark suit with a orange tie and a pin on his lapel. Queen Máxima wore a red Natan top and trousers with a diamond rivere, diamond earrings, and bow brooches in her hair.
