The Prince and Princess of Wales, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the National Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication, as well as the presentation of the Honours of Scotland, at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh on July 5t, to mark the Coronation, similar to a ceremony held for the late Queen in 1953. The Princess Royal joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla as they hosted a Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh on July 4th, on their first visit to Scotland following their Coronation in May. There are usually four annual Garden Parties hosted by the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood House for around 30,000 guests yearly, as well as a few special others, including one at Hillsborough Castle this year.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House in London to the 20th anniversary of wildlife conservation charity Elephant Family, which was established by the Queen’s late brother Mark Shand in 2003. This year’s annual Animal Ball was a celebration of indigenous communities, hosted by the Elephant Family in partnership with the British Asian Trust. Continue reading
