The Royal Family attended the annual Sunday Service at Crathie Kirk near Balmoral Castle on August 27th, during their annual stay on the Balmoral Estate in the Scottish Highlands, where this year, they will mark the first anniversary of the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II .
The Royal Family have been present at multiple days of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships at The All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon this month, so we are rounding them all in this article. Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. The Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club while the Duchess of Gloucester is the President of the Lawn Tennis Association .
The Prince and Princess of Wales, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the National Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication, as well as the presentation of the Honours of Scotland, at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh on July 5t, to mark the Coronation, similar to a ceremony held for the late Queen in 1953. Today marks the Anniversary of the birth of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, who was born on this day in 1961. The Earl’s daughter who became the Princess of Wales and one of the most iconic (and tragic) women of the last century, the Princess passed a spectacular jewellery collection, which included these Diamond and Pearl Earrings!
The British Royal Family attended the fourth day of races at the Ascot Racecourse on June 23rd. Royal Ascot is a permanent fixture on the British Royal Family’s June calendar and the late Queen attended all five days of the horse-racing event for over 70 years. The British Royal Family joined the King and Queen to attend the Service for the Most Noble Order of the Garter at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on June 19th, following Trooping the Colour and the Coronation. The oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain, the Most Noble Order of the Garter was founded by King Edward III in 1348, and is limited to the Sovereign, the Prince of Wales and 24 members as well as members of the Royal Family, known as Royal Knights and Ladies, and Foreign Sovereigns, known as Stranger (or Extra) Knights and Ladies.
