The Princess of Asturias was joined by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Sofia, and Infanta Sofia in Oviedo this week to preside over the 2023 Princess of Asturias Awards, to deliver a series of prizes to individuals, entities or companies from around the world who make notable achievements in the sciences, humanities, and public affairs. King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted a Dinner for 50 Heads of State and Government at the Palacio de La Alhambra in Granada on October 5th, during the Summit of the European Political Community. Spain holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the fifth time during the second half of 2023, between July 1 and December 31.
Royalty at Wimbledon 2023
The Royal Family have been present at multiple days of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships at The All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon this month, so we are rounding them all in this article. Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. Spanish Royal Family at Academia General Militar
The Princess of Asturias joined King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia as they presided over the ceremony of delivery of Dispatches and appointments to the new officers of the Army who have completed their training at the Academia General Militar in Zaragoza. The Princess of Asturias will begin three years of military training at the Academia General Militar in September, followed by a year in a Naval School and a third year in the Air Force Academy.
