The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they hosted the third and last annual Garden Party of 2022 at Buckingham Palace on May 25th, following the Garden Party on May 11th and on May 18th. There are usually four annual Garden Parties hosted by the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood House for around 30,000 guests yearly, as well as a few special others, though the Queen has announced in advance that she will not be attending any of the Garden Parties this year.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they hosted the second Garden Party in the spectacular gardens of Buckingham Palace. The members of the Royal Family stood for the national anthem before meeting some of the 8,000 guests while making their way towards the Royal Tea Tent, where they met further guests.

Amazing! Just the other day I was commenting on the fact that Princess Beatrice had joined the group who supported the Queen at the Chelsea Flower show, and here she is, now supporting her cousin Prince William and her uncle Prince Edward. This is a very excellent development indeed! All the ladies looked great! These garden parties are so important to keep everyone’s spirits up. They were greatly missed during the pandemic’s dark hours, and it’s very comforting to see things slowly returning to normalcy.
