Royal Guests at the Funeral of the Queen Mother

Twenty-One Sovereigns and Consorts were among the Royal Guests and Relatives who joined the British Royal Family for the Funeral of the Queen Mother at Westminster Abbey on this day 20 years ago, which was quite similar to the recent Memorial Service held for the Duke of Edinburgh at Westminster Abbey (the Duke passed away on this day last year).

Following the ‘Vigil of the Princes’, with the Queen Mother’s four grandsons, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York, the Earl of Wessex, and Viscount Linley, guarding the coffin, the coffin was followed by male members of the Royal Family, and the Princess Royal, in a Procession from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey:
