New Portraits of the Swedish Royal Family

The Swedish Royal Court has released New Official Portraits of the Swedish Royal Family as they launch their updated website. The portraits were taken by Linda Broström of the Royal Court and reflect King Carl XVI Gustaf’s decision to remove his grandchildren not in the direct line of succession from the Royal House.

King Carl XVI Gustav wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star. Queen Silvia wore a pale blue gown with the Swedish Cameo Tiara and Parure, pearl earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch.

Crown Princess Victoria wore an H&M gown with the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara, Pearl Earrings, a pearl and diamond brooch, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch. Prince Daniel wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star.

Prince Carl-Phillip wore White Tie with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim and the Neck Badge of the Order of the Polar Star. Princess Sofia wore an Alexis gown with the Diamond version of her Wedding TiaraNapoleonic Amethyst Earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch.

Princess Madeleine wore an Ida Sjöstedt gown with the Modern Fringe Tiara, Diamond Earrings, the Sash and Star of the Order of the Seraphim, and King Carl Gustaf’s Portrait Brooch.
