The Queen has arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk at the start of an extended Holiday on January 23rd, following a short helicopter ride from Windsor Castle, where she has spent much of the past year following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen is expected to spend Accession Day, February 6th, at Sandringham, marking the 70th Anniversary of her Accession. The Queen usually stays at Sandringham House from Christmas until after Accession Day in February, but this is her first extended stay on the Sandringham Estate since 2020. The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be mainly celebrated in the Summer.
May the Queen rest well at Sandringham Estate
