The Royal Watcher in 2022

Happy New Year everyone! 2021 was a busy year for all of us, with millions of visitors on The Royal Watcher, and I’ve had a wonderful time interacting with so many of you! After a quite different royal year in 2021, which we have just revisited in our ‘Year-in-Review’ series, there are quite a few Royal events to look forward to in 2022, more HERE:

The 18th Birthday of Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway, King Abdullah II of Jordan’s 60th Birthday, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark’s 50th Birthday, the 90th birthday of Princess Astrid of Norway, Mrs Ferner, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 40th Birthdays, Queen Letizia of Spain’s 50th Birthday, and the 90th birthday of Queen Sirikit of Thailand among many others

There will be major celebrations for Queen Margrethe II of Denmark’s Golden Jubilee (originally scheduled for January but now delayed until the Summer) and Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations througout the year.
The Weddings of Princess Theodora of Greece, Prince Louis of Luxembourg, and Princess Maria Laura of Belgium alongside many more Royal and Noble Weddings

We can also look forward to more of the usual glittering State Visits, Banquets, Receptions and Galas, starting with the Japanese New Year’s Reception in a few hours!
