Before we recap, some personal comments:
- This year’s Tiara appearences came mainly from Weddings and State Banquets, as Royal Activities resumed when pandemic restrictions were eased.
- Each Year, there is a Royal lady that has had more notable Tiara appearances than the others, and after Queen Mathilde in 2016, Queen Letizia in 2017, Queen Máxima in 2018, and the tie of Empress Masako of Japan and Queen Azizah of Malaysia in 2019 and last year, this year, Queen Máxima of The Netherlands, Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and Queen Sonja and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, all tied with two Tiara appearences each.
- Due to the pandemic, Queen Elizabeth II and the British Royal Ladies have had no public Tiara events in 2021, nor did Queen Mathilde of Belgium wear a Tiara.
- However, there were many Tiara debuts and important reappearances, at the splendid Royal and Noble Weddings, with notable Tiaras including the Von Preussen Tiara, the Hapsburg Fringe Tiara, the Kinsky Palmette Tiara, the Bernadotte Emerald Parure, and Princess Sayako’s Tiara.
- In addition to all the Tiara events, we have featured articles on hundreds of royal jewels throughout the year, which you can visit HERE and HERE!
Also, let us know your favourite tiara from this year, and would would you like to see next year!
