OMIGOSH! A pearl fell off the Pearl Poire tiara???? How does something like that happen? Did they find it? How do you replace an almost 200 year old pearl? The Queen looked fabulous and totally in control. I would be quite distressed if something like that happened to me! But Queen Margrethe is taking everything in its stride these days, and good for her. The blue suit she wore for the day time activities was very excellent. She looked great! And Crown Prince Frederick looked quite dashing escorting his mother, representing his country.
Oh! I reread the story and it’s a pearl from the brooch, not the tiara. Well, that’s a mercy! But still, even though I’m glad it wasn’t the tiara, the brooch is just as antique. I do hope they find the pearl!
