Royalty from around the world have gathered in St. Petersburg for the Wedding of Tsesarevich Grand Duke George Mikhailovich of Russia, the only son of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna of Russia (the Head of the House of Romanov) and Prince Franz Wilhelm of Prussia, and Nob. Victoria Romanovna Bettarini, daughter of His Excellency Ambassador Nob. Roberto Bettarini and Nob. Carla Bettarini. The couple announced their Engagement in January and the bride will be known as Princess Victoria Romanovna Romanoff, with the predicate of Serene Highness after the Wedding

Welcome Reception | September 30

A Welcome Reception was held for international guests, included many Royal Guests, at the Vladimir Palace in Saint Petersburg, once home of the great-great-grandparents of the groom, Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Vladimir.

Wedding | October 1

The Russian Orthodox Ceremony was held at Saint Isaac’s Cathedral in Saint Petersburg, with around 1,500 guests expected, including many Royal Guests.

Royal Guests and Relatives included Tsar Simeon II, Queen Margarita, and Crown Princess Miriam of Bulgaria and with the Prince of Turnovo, the Duke and Duchess of Braganza with the Prince of Beira, Crown Prince Leka II and Crown Princess Elia of Albania,Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, the Duke of Aosta and Princess Olga, Duchess of Aosta, the Duke and Duchess of Anjou, Princess Isabelle of Liechtenstein with Prince Wenzeslaus, Prince Rudolf Ferdinand and Princess Tılsım, and Prince Charles-Philippe of Orléans, Duke of Anjou.

Gala Dinner | October 1

In the evening, there will be a Gala Dinner for the Russian Museum of Ethnography in Saint Petersburg, with around 550 guests.

Brunch | October 2

Grand Duke George and Princess Victoria will host a Brunch for 700 guests at the Constantine Palace, which will be followed by a Charity Auction and a Concert. Learn More.

French society magazine Point de Vue followed Nob. Victoria Romanovna Bettarini as she visited the legendary Jeweler Chaumet to select the tiara that she will wear for the Wedding, where she was presented with many choices, including the Chaumet Bourbon-Parma Tiara and Radziwiłł Tiara, before she choose the Chaumet Lacis Tiara. Reem Acra, Elina Samarina for Sergio Marcone Moscow and Torzhok embroideries are designing the Wedding Gowns, a sneak peak of which was revealed.

Grand Duke George Mikhailovich of Russia and Victoria Romanovna Bettarini celebrated their civil wedding in Moscow on September 24th, followed by a Reception at their Moscow home. More Here.
