Wedding of India Hicks and David Flint Wood

India Hicks, the daughter of Lady Pamela Mountbatten and David Hicks and a goddaughter of the Prince of Wales, married her long-time partner, David Flint Wood, at the Brightwell Baldwin Church in Oxfordshire on September 10th, followed by a Reception at the Lord Nelson Pub. David and India have been together for 25 years and have five children together.

India Hicks was a bridesmaid at the Wedding of Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 following in the footsteps of her mother, Lady Pamela, who was a bridesmaid at the Wedding of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947. Sadly she did not wear the Mountbatten Pearl and Diamond Tiara worn by her mother and sister at their Weddings.

  1. Well, you know what they say: it’s never too late! What a beautiful gown she was wearing! It’s incredible that neither of them had ever been married. I wish them continued joy in their lives!
