Wedding of Princess Maria-Anunciata of Liechtenstein

The Wedding of Princess Maria-Anunciata of Liechtenstein, daughter of Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein and Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg, and Emanuele Musini at the Kirche Unsere Liebe Frau zu den Schotten (Schottenkirche) in Vienna on September 4, followed by a Reception at the Stadtpalais Liechtenstein. The evening Reception was held at the Liechtenstein Gartenpalais in Vienna. The couple got married in a Civil Ceremony at the Villa della Tenuta di Fassia in Italy in June. Her sister, Princess Marie-Astrid, will get married later this month.

Royal Guests and Relatives included the extended Liechtenstein Princely Family, the extended Luxembourg Grand Ducal Family, Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath of Jordan, Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, the Hereditary Princess of Oettingen-Spielberg, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo. Princess Maria-Anunciata is the niece of both the reigning Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and Prince Hans Adam II of Liechtenstein.

Princess Maria-Anunciata wore a stunning Valentino Gown with the Hapsburg Fringe Tiara for the ceremony, changing into another gown and the Luxembourg Vine Leaves Tiara for the Reception.

  1. Princess Maria Anunciata was indeed wearing the Hapsburg tiara during the wedding ceremony. She wore a tiara from her father’s family for the ceremony and one from her mother’s family for the reception. How cool is that! Her veil was to die for and her dress was lovely, but what was beautiful beyond compare was the church where the ceremony was held. What an amazingly romantic setting! And they looked so happy! I wish them every happiness in their new life together!
