Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated her 44th Birthday (Victoriadagen) with a series of celebrations on July 14th, which were much different from the usual due to the ongoing pandemic, with the Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar posing for a few photographers instead of the usual greeting of well-wishers at Solliden Palace on the Island of Öland.

In the evening, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Phillip, and Princess Madeline and Chris O’Neill joined Crown Princess Victoria for the traditional Victoriadagen Concert in the Borgholm Castle Ruins. Princess Sofia decided to stay back at the last minute, as Prince Julian is quite young, while it was the first time Prince Oscar has attended the concert. During the concert, the Crown Princess handed out the Victoria Prize to Nils van der Poel, a Skater who won World Cup gold in the 5,000 meters and also took the gold in the 10,000 meters, making a new world record.
