The Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn join the Queen as they saw the Countess of Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor take part in ‘The Champagne Laurent-Perrier Meet of the British Driving Society’ during the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Home Park on July 4th. Lady Louise drove the late Duke of Edinburgh’s carriage, which was displayed at his Funeral in April.

The Queen was joined by Countess Mountbatten as she visited the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Home Park on July 1st, driving herself to the Show just hours after finishing Holyrood Week in Edinburgh and her return to Windsor Castle. The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a horse show held annually since 1943 for five days in May or June in Windsor Home Park. The show is the only one in the United Kingdom to host international competition for dressage, show jumping, carriage driving and endurance riding.

The Countess of Wessex was also spotted at the Royal Windsor Horse Show earlier on July 1st, visiting a shopping area.

On July 2nd, the Queen drove herself in a Range Rover from Windsor Castle to Windsor Home Park for the Royal Windsor Horse Show, where she joined friends to watch an equestrian display just a few hours before she will welcome German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor and Countess Mountbatten joined the Queen at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Home Park on July 3rd, where she won Tattersalls RoR Open In Hand class with First Receiver, produced by Katie Jerram. In the afternoon, the Queen returned to present the Best Turned out Trooper Award.

We can expect to see the Queen and members of the Royal Family attending the Horse Show in an unofficial capacity over the next few days, so be sure to return as this page will be updated.
