On July 11th, the Duke of Cambridge was joined by the Duchess and Prince George as they watched the EURO 2020 Final Match between England and Italy at Wembley Stadium in London. Earlier, the Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, watched the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon and presented the trophies.

The Crown Prince opened the Football Village and the Crown Princess visited a street party as part of the Mary Foundation’s initiative “Fantastic Football Parties” on June 11th, both participating in matches. The following day, they were at the match between Denmark and Finland when Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed, and sent out a message of support, as did the Duke of Cambridge, both being thanked in the official statement.

On July 7th, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and Prince Christian of Denmark joined the Duke of Cambridge at the EURO 2020 Semi-Final Match between England and Denmark at Wembley Stadium. Prince William previously met the Crown Prince and Crown Princess at the Christening of Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece in 1999, a trip to Copenhagen in 2011, Royal Ascot in 2016, and the Prince of Wales’ 70th Birthday in 2018.
