Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco joined Prince Albert and Princess Paola of Belgium for a Dinner in Monte Carlo on this day in 1966, during their Official Visit to the Principality of Monaco. It appears Prince Albert and Princess Paola’s went much better than Princess Margaret’s visit a few weeks to Nice a few weeks previously, and Prince Albert was awarded Monaco’s Order of Saint-Charles.
