— RHC (@RHCJO) May 25, 2021King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan were joined by Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Muna, Princess Salma, Prince Hashem, and members of the extended Jordanian Royal Family as they marked the 75th Jordanian Independence Day at the Raghadan Palace in Amman on May 25th. The King reviewed the honour guard ahead of the ceremony, and afterwards bestowed honours to leading national institutions and distinguished Jordanian citizens. Independence Day celebrates the signing of the London Treaty by Emir Abdullah and the British Government, which transformed the Emirate into the Kingdom of Jordan and granted full sovereignty from the British Empire.
