My Years With The Queen

In this one-off documentary for ITV, Lady Pamela Hicks, the daughter of Lord Mountbatten, great great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria, first cousin to Prince Philip and a second cousin to the Queen, talks about her incredible life growing up within the Royal Family and her close relationship with the Queen, as her childhood friend, bridesmaid and later as her Lady in Waiting.

Lady Pamela was joined by her daughter, India Hicks, as they talked about the Queen’s Wedding, her surprise Accession and Coronation, the massive Commonwealth Tour, and the assassination of Lord Mountbatten as well as India’s time as a bridesmaid to Princess Diana and receiving Princess Anne’s hand-me-downs.

  1. This interview was seriously brilliant!
Lady Pamela and India were so captivating and so interesting
We are incredibly lucky to still have Lady Pamela and Her Majesty the Queen still with us
They are true wonderful Icons of another era
    Thank you 🙏🏻

  2. Such a delightful documentary. Not those typical Royal documentaries of today, where “experts” presents their views. This is a person who was actually there and who actually knows the Queen, which makes it so much more interesting.
