Happy Birthday to Hereditary Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha! The daughter of Captain Christian Robert Rondestvedt, a retired pilot in the United States Navy and Cheryl Ann Forbes, a former middle school teacher, Kelly Rondestvedt was born in Pensacola, Florida and grew up in Kings County, California, where she graduated as salutatorian from Lemoore Union High School in 1993. After getting a degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997, Kelly worked as an investment banker for PwC, before getting a Master’s degree in business administration from UCLA, and then working as an associate for Morgan Stanley before being promoted to Vice President. In 2009, she married Hereditary Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha the eldest son and Heir of the Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and she became the Hereditary Princess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Duchess of Saxony. The couple have three children, whose godparents include King Philippe of Belgium, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, the Prince of Prussia, Prince Ernst August of Hanover, Hereditary Prince Bernhard of Baden, Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, Princess Anna of Bavaria, and Carina Axelsson. The Hereditary Prince and Hereditary Princess attend a plethora of Royal Events, like the Wedding of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, the Wedding of the Prince of Prussia and Princess Sophie of Isenburg, the Wedding of Prince Carl Philip, the Wedding of Princess Madeline, and King Carl XVI Gustaf’s 70th Birthday Banquet.
