So head scratcher question: I’m pretty good on peerage/titles but am curious why “Lady Frederick” and not “Lady Sophie”? Is that as she was not titled prior to marriage?
In the UK, women take the titles of their husband unless they have a higher-ranking title! As the son of a Prince, her husband is Lord Frederick Windsor, and so as his wife, she takes the female form of his title, which is Lady Frederick (the same as a daughter-in-law of a Duke or a Marquess)! It’s just one of the oddities of the British title system!
I’m happy to see that she bears no ill effects of her terrible accident of a few years back. Happy birthday to Lady Frederick! I wish her joy!
