The Wedding of Duke Carl of Württemberg, son of the Duke of Württemberg and Archduchess Rosa of Austria, and Princess Diane of Orleans (wearing the Württemberg Diamond Scroll Tiara), daughter of the Count of Paris and Princess Isabelle of Orléans-Braganza, in the Chapel of Schloss Altshausen on this day in 1960, following a magnificent Wedding Ball. In addition to the entire extended Orléans and Württemberg Royal Families, Royal Guests included Prince Juan Carlos of Spain, Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy, Prince Casimir of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and Princess Maria Cristina of Savoy-Aosta. The Duke and Duchess have six children, including Duke Friedrich and Duke Philipp, and the couple reside at Schloss Altshausen and Schloss Friedrichshafen, the main seats of the House of Württemberg.
