Wedding of Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice of York married Count Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in an intimate ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints near Royal Lodge, Windsor on July 17th, with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh among the small number of guests in attendance. The couple got engaged last September and their Wedding was originally scheduled to be in the Chapel Royal at St James’ Palace in May. We offer the Princess and Count Edoardo (known as Mr Mapelli Mozzi in Britain as Foreign Titles aren’t recognized) our heartiest congratulations and wish them a happy future life together!

Princess Beatrice wore a Norman Hartnell Gown worn by the Queen during a State Visit to Italy, a Royal Film Premiere, and the 1967 State Opening of Parliament which was remodelled and fitted by Angela Kelly, along with Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara, worn by the Queen and Princess Anne at their weddings. Her bouquet was to rest on the Grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey.

  1. Good for them! They can always have the party later, when it is safe to do so. I wish them joy!

  2. That is so lovely! She wore her grandmother’s dress and tiara! She looks very beautiful and happy. I hope she’s as fortunate in her marriage as the Queen has been in hers.

  3. Congratulations to the young couple. The gown is stunning and it could not have been a more perfect time for a wedding. Stay safe and happy as you are today.
