The Christening of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate on this day in 2015. She was the Royal Christening Robe and was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Lily Font and water from the River Jordan. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess hosted tea at Sandringham House, where guests were served slices from a tier taken from the Duke and Duchess’ wedding cake. The Princess’ godparents are Laura Fellowes, Adam Middleton, Thomas van Straubenzee, James Meade, and Sophie Carter.
