Queen returns to London

The Queen boarded the train from King’s Lynn Station in Norfolk as she returned to London on February 11th, after spending her annual Winter Break, including Christmas, at Sandringham House, her estate in Norfolk, and on the day the divorce of her grandson, Peter Philips was officially announced. The Queen will resume her usual schedule of Official Duties until she goes on Holiday to Balmoral Castle in July.

  1. Queen Elizabeth II is the best example of “Keep Calm and Carry On” in the world! Her second son’s reputation implodes, one of her grandsons quit royal life, and another grandson files for divorce, and through it all she remains as steady as a rock, arriving in London on time to assume her duties. You have to admire her spirit!
