The Funeral of Sir Winston Churchill at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, following a Procession through London, in which the coffin, bourne on a gun carriage pulled by a detachment from the Royal Navy, and escorted by officers of the RAF moved up Whitehall and past the Cenotaph heading towards Trafalgar Square and then St Paul’s, ahead of the burial at St Martin’s Church, Bladon. The occasion was the last State Funeral in Britain, an honour usually reserved for the monarch.

In addition to the entire British Royal Family, Royal attendees included King Olav of Norway, King Gustaf Adolf of Sweden, King Constantine II of Greece, King Frederik of Denmark, Queen Juliana of The Netherlands, King Baudoin of Belgium, and Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg.
