The following evening, King Frederik and Queen Ingrid (in Queen Sophia’s Star and Pearl Tiara and her Antique Corsage) were hosted by French Prime Minister Robert Schuman at the Quai d’Orsay.

King Frederik and Queen Ingrid (wearing the Danish Ruby Parure with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant) also hosted a Return Banquet at the Danish Embassy in Paris. The couple returned to Paris for a Banquet the following year, and later undertook another State Visit to France in 1965.
