The Wedding of Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg (wearing the Luxembourg Empire Tiara and the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau) and Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma (in the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau, the Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Royal Hungarian Order of Saint Stephen) at the Cathédral Notre-Dame in Luxembourg City on this day in 1919. Royal Guests and Relatives included their mothers, Grand Duchess Maria-Ana and Duchess Maria-Antonia of Parma (wearing the Bourbon-Parma Tiara). The Grand Duchess had acceded to the Throne earlier that year, after the abdication of her sister. Prince Felix was the son of the Duke of Parma and a brother of Empress Zita of Austria. The couple had six children and remained happily married for over 50 years.
