Prince Nikolaos of Greece

Happy Birthday to Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark, who turns 50 today! The third of the five children of King Constantine II of Greece and Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark, and a nephew of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Queen Sofia of Spain, he was born in Rome during the family’s exile, and grew up in the United Kingdom. His godparents include Queen Sofia, Princess Irene of Greece, Crown Princess Margareta of Romania, and Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia. Educated at the Hellenic College of London, he attended Brown University, and has then worked for Fox Television Network in New York, NatWest Markets in London and is a member of board of the Anna-Maria Foundation, designed to help victims of natural disasters like floods and earthquakes in Greece. In 2010, he married Tatiana Blatnik, after many years of dating. The couple have no children and reside in Athens. An avid photographer, Prince Nikolaos has dedicated himself to photography since 2013, his work having been exhibited around the world. We wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
