The Wedding of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna of Russia, daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Kirillovich of Russia and Princess Leonida Bagration of Mukhrani, and Prince Franz Wilhelm of Prussia, son of Prince Karl Franz of Prussia and Princess Henriette of Schönaich-Carolath, in an Orthodox Ceremony at the Church of the Saints Apostle Andrew the First-Called and Great Martyr Demetrius of Solunsky in Madrid on this day in 1976. The couple has one son, Grand Duke George Mikhailovich, before their divorce in 1985.
