Royal attendees included the Duke (in the Order of the Golden Fleece) and Duchess of Württemberg (wearing the Württemberg Sapphire Tiara),  Prince Max, Duke in Bavaria and Princess Elisabeth, Duchess in Bavaria (wearing the Diamond and Pearl Tiara), and the Duke of Bavaria, Grand Duke Jean and Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte of Luxembourg (wearing the Emerald Peacock Tiara), Infanta Elena of Spain (in the Prussian Diamond Tiara), the Countess of Paris (wearing the Chaumet Pearl Tiara), and Princess Marie Gabrielle of Bavaria, Princess von Waldburg zu Zeil und Trauchburg (wearing the Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara) among a plethora of European Royalty and Nobility.

There was also another Ball at Schloss Tegernsee on the eve of the Wedding, at which the Duke and Princess Diane, Duchess of Württemberg (wearing her Ruby Tiara) were pictured with Prince Max, Duke in Bavaria and Princess Elisabeth, Duchess in Bavaria (wearing the Bavarian Pearl and Diamond Floral Tiara), who hosted the Ball. Most of the other attendees (including the bride) did not wear Tiaras!
