The Queen and members of the Royal Family are hosting the President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during their State Visit to the United Kingdom from June 3rd to June 5th. This is the third American State Visit, coming after the Queen had tea with the Trumps at Windsor Castle last year.

— The Royal Family (@RoyalFamily) June 3, 2019The Queen, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall received the President and First Lady at Buckingham Palace on the morning of June 3rd, with a ceremonial welcome in the Palace Garden and an inspection of the Guard of Honour. Subsequently, the Presidential Couple attended a private luncheon with members of the Royal Family, and then viewed a special exhibition in the Picture Gallery, consisting of items from the Royal Collection that are of historical significance to the United States.

In the afternoon, the Duke of York accompanied the President and Mrs. Trump, on a visit Westminster Abbey, to lay a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior. Afterwards, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall hosted the Presidential Couple for tea at Clarence House.

Both the Queen and President gave speeches. The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent were also in attendance.

The Queen wore a white gown with the Burmese Ruby Tiara, Crown Ruby Parure, and the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter with her Royal Family Orders. The Prince of Wales wore White Tie, the Garter, Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Star of the Order of the Thistle, the Neck Badge of the Order of the Bath, his Medals, and other Insignia. The Duchess of Cornwall wore a white Bruce Oldfield gown with the Greville Tiara, Pearl Earrings, her Pink Topaz Choker, Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, and the Sash and Star of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Duke of Cambridge wore White Tie, the Garter, Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Star of the Order of the Thistle, and his Medals. The Duchess of Cambridge wore an Alexander McQueen gown with Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, the Queen Mother’s Sapphire Earrings, her Acorn Brooch, Princess Diana’s Pearl Bracelet, the Sash and Star of the Royal Victorian Order (for the first time), and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Princess Royal wore her Aquamarine Pine-Flower Tiara. The Countess of Wessex wore a mauve Bruce Oldfield gown with a modified version of her Wedding Tiara. The Duchess of Gloucester wore the Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara/ Princess Alexandra wore the Ogilvy Tiara with her Pearl and Diamond Brooch. Princess Michael wore the Kent Festoon Tiara.

On the evening of June 4th, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall represented the Queen at a Return Dinner hosted by the President and First Lady at Winfield House, the Residence of the American Ambassador to the Court of St James.
