Danish State Visit to Argentina

This is the first State Visit after Prince Henrik’s death, and the first time in over a decade that the Crown Prince has joined the Queen for an outgoing State Visit.

Queen Margrethe arrived in Buenos Aires on March 17th, where she visited the historic Cementerio de la Recoleta cemetery, which was followed by a Dinner with Danish ambassador Søren Vøhtz and his wife Sofia Vøhtz Rosenbaum. Crown Prince Frederik arrived separately, since the Monarch and Heir aren’t allowed to fly together, the following day after his plane was delayed and diverted.
