King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden was joined by Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, Prince Carl-Phillip and Princess Sofia, and Princess Christina and Tord Magnuson, as he hosted a Dinner for the 2018 Nobel Laureates at the Royal Palace of Stockholm on December 11th, after awarding the Nobel Prizes on the 10th. The members of the Royal Family greeted the Nobel Laureates and their guests in the Vita Havet Assembly Rooms, before they processed into Karl XI’s Gallery for the Banquet. Since the Banquet is a private event, we usually only get pictures from the procession and of the Royals greeting guests, but this year, we also got a look at the table.

  1. Very nice all around, except Crown Princess Victoria. She was looking like a million bucks! She looked wonderful at the ceremony, but she looked amazing tonight! I really like how Princess Lilian’s Laurel Wreath tiara looks on her. It’s a difficult tiara to wear, but she owns it! Princess Sofia looked very nice and so did the Queen (wearing the Baden fringe, which she rarely wears), but the night belonged to CP Victoria! Oh, and the men looked nice too! 🙂
